Change nest to use opentherm with hot water priority Ideal vogue boiler

    Hi folks,

I have a Ideal vogue boiler s26 gen 2 (6/7 years old) with nest, hot water and heating zones. I'm pretty sure the nest is wired as on/off. It looks like the Ideal can handle OpenTherm and the nest can do it and also weather compensation.

From an efficiency gain I'm curious about getting it changed over. Looks like its not that big of a job but getting a plumber who's done it before might be?

Any suggestions for a plumber in North county Dublin who could do it? I've only one heating zone (radiators) and one hot water zone.

    Cheers,

    Mick
