    Hi All,

I am looking to get my 20 year old boiler upgraded along with putting 3 heating zones and one hot water zone. Also want to change hot water cylinder tank along with it. Finally have a smart system in place.

We are talking of 10 rads.

Any recommendations, how long it can take any idea of how much it will cost and what’s involved? Also any grants available?

    Many Thanks

Don't use <MOD SNIP (use pm if you want to mention name)> for purchase or installation. They like to deny contracted terms regarding maintenance offers they make.Worcester boilers are reliable. The 18i caters for 10 rads.I have 8 rads so took the 18i.Maybe you are looking at pipework and rad changes after 20years,relocation of boiler/ Experts will be on here later.

There is an seai grant for heating controls worth about €500 in the end (assuming ber assessment is €200). However to get it, will depend on your current pre existing controls. See seai website. If your current heating set up is minimal then more likely to be accepted. Mine didn't has grant aimed at stone age households with controls that are very basic. Might work for your set up though. Can still get grant with a any fuel boiler. Must be seai registered installer which for gas is a rare person but seai have register list online
