PAYE tax clearance certificate

It's pretty straightforward, my question really. I'm sure many of us have the headache of it. I am trying to get my psv licence and must get tax clearance. A complete catch 22. So how have you guys managed to get the tax clearance to obtain the PSV drivers licence?

So basically, you can't get the clearance without having an employer?? That's what it looks to me like.

It literally says what to do it you are self employed.

I'm not self employed. I am trying to get the licence in order to get a job. The accountant can sort it out at this stage.

E-tax clearance can be used by PAYE individuals using their revenue Myaccount. The post with the screen shot shows you what to do as PAYE individual. You just log into your Revenue Myaccount and find the e-tax clearance section and follow the instructions.
