Unusual Castelgarden fault

    I have a ride on Castelgarden xt165. It's old but has been reliable machine with a Honda motor.

    Using it a few weeks ago and it stopped working.

    What's unusual is that the mower will only start when the button for the clutch blades is engaged. Normally it wouldn't allow itself to turn over with the blades on. Once started the blades don't actually spin, although the button is on and the button does nothing and the motor runs with it on/off.

    So engine only starts when blade button is on and blade button does nothing when it is running.

    Im hoping for a simple fix!
