Point to point wireless link up a street

Hey,

I am trying to share an internet signal up a street 150m using Ubiquity airmax wifi bridge with wall brackets around 600mm off the wall(good line of sight).

I can't go up as too many buildings in the way.

Anyone tried this before and did it work?

how do you have line of site at ground level and not higher up

They will be 3-4m up o the wall so clear of pedestrians.

I have a few spare pairs in stock taken from old jobs.

sure you can but try it, point to point should work fine

2 smaller building with bigger buildings in the way.

I could do it but the masts would have to be 5-6m at least.

Did it here between us and my brother's house from about 2010 to 2022 with a pair of PtP nanostations for sharing a wireless internet service.

Worked great for all those years until the wireless provider shutdown.

Yea they work very good, I'm just worried the signal will get messed up along the walls between them.

No across a road, but that shouldn't make a difference once you have decent clear line of sight

Update,

I put the link in, 500mm off a wall 2.5m up both sides up a busy street 150m apart(between few pubs with outside tables) and works surprisingly well.

The source has 25mb download and the ap wired has 20-23mb so happy enough with that.
