If I’m resident in Ireland and I’ve paid inheritance tax in UK do I also have to pay inheritance in Ireland in addition to what I’ve already paid in UK

You are liable for Inheritance Tax in Ireland with a deduction for any tax paid in the UK.

In effect, you'll end up paying whichever is highest.

If you already received the inheritance you can't go back in time to change your residence.

Anyway you'll be caught by being Ordinarily Resident.
