Philips 55OLED808

Hello,

I purchased a Sony LED TV from you guys back in 2016. It served me well to this date but it's beginning to show it's age, especially with HDR content.

I'm looking to get my first OLED. The Philips 55OLED808 has caught my eye. I noticed it's on offer for 999 pound on your .com website. Will this offer be extended to the .ie website ?

What would be your recommendations for a budget around a 1,000? 55 inch panel required.

The 55OLED808 is a fantastic television.
We are the same price at £999 but it is an instore only collection unfortunately..

There is the LG 55G2 which is priced at £899 - It comes with a wall bracket as it is the gallery range but you can get a stand to fit it if its not being wall mounted.

That's a shame about the 808. I'm in Louth so maybe I can manage to work a collection.

I will have a think about the G2. The lack of DTS passthrough and the shorter guarantee isn't ideal at first glance.

No problem at all, keep me posted if you could collect the Philips.

The 55G2 does include our 6 year guarantee at the moment. It has it listed on our .com site but it was only added yesterday and our .ie site still displays the 1 year. (The LG deals are changing all the time). It does also come with a LG limited panel 5 year warranty direct with LG.

I have just put through an order for the G3 with the stand. I saw this model locally at the weekend and it really stood out. I felt it was worth stretching the budget.

The brightness and colour on the G3 really pops - the addition of the Micro lens Array panel really sets it apart from the other models.
