LOI player receives 10 match ban for racist abuse

Dundalk goalkeeper Shelvey has been handed a 10 match ban for racist abuse. Shelvey was shown a red card just after the full time whistle in the Louth derby against Drogheda United following a verbal exchange with referee Rob Harvey . Dundalk have accepted the ban and have stated that they will not appeal.
