    HI all.

Anyone use a push/reel/manual mower to cut your grass? Are they good? Do they last long before the blades render useless? From my reading, one must cut the grass weekly to ensure the grass is not too high that it makes the mower unoperational.

Do you mean a push mower with no engine? The old sort that turn the blades from the rolling wheels. Haven't seen one in a long time. Might suit a very small garden and cut often when grass is short and dry. Can see the advantage in an urban area as much quieter and non polluting. Got a job as a teenager cutting grass with relatives and they only had an old manual mower. It was tough going.
