redundancy / tax free allowance

    Hi all, just a question about tax free allowance on redundancy payment ( it's all very confusing on revenue) i am being made redundant in the coming months and i have worked with the same employer for 40 years with no career breaks just the normal summer holidays . will i be taxed on any payment above the statutory payment? or is there a tax free limit ceiling.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor.
