Second hand clubs for my kids (both left handed)

I used to play a bit of golf in my teens/early 20s (20+ years ago). Now want to get back into it with my 2 eldest (10 and 12 years old).

Neither have swung a club before, apart from mini golf on holidays, so will be driving range/lessons at first.

Where is good to pick up clubs for them? Likely second hand and don't want to spend much as they may not take to it!

Take a look on Adverts for a start. Somewhere like The Golf Studio I'm Celbridge driving range seem to carry a good range of second hand, but not sure how many kids, or left hand sets a lot of places would have.

Pretty sure they have some cheap starter sets in the Spawell range for kids too

A mix of second-hand, new and renting (eg a driver) could be an option, depending on what is out there

When I was a young fella I bought a leftie 9-iron to play pitch 'n' putt with, then later added a new 6-iron and second-hand 3-iron to practice longer shots

They might even have been the only left-handed clubs I saw for sale, anyhow they covered me for a lot of situations as I was learning the ropes

My nephew (7ish at the time) took a shine to golf & we got him a set of clubs but as a leftie it was hard. Found a set his size on adverts, no doubt he'll be grown out of them soon & will need a new set

If they're still growing & you're not sure how interested they are I'd say best keep an eye on adverts

I think Decathlon do a reasonable range aswell from memory

McGuirks have decent sets for around 300 i think it was but again with growth & interest levels it's hard to justify 300 (imo)

My better half has some old left handed clubs which you might get cut down .Feel free to take them if you wish.
