Showed up on Prime Video as not Watchable here, Usually when something is not available to stream it isn't even published on Prime Video for us to see

An extra 20 minutes runtime Streaming exclusive would make it 2h 27mins, Wonder how much extra screentime Blunt gets

I'm guessing it bombed at the box office so they seem to be trying to recoup as much of their budget as quick as possible from streaming rental sales. If it does well maybe this could be a boon for earlier Streaming releases, I don't imagine it would at $19.99/ $24.99 though. Odeon tickets are €5 and free (up to 4 tickets) if you claim on the Vodafone App freebies

I’d imagine it’s all part of the release strategy and planned well in advance. Box office window is short these days with the large number of screens (and small number of competing films).

From box office expert Scott Mendelson:

'The film will arrive on PVOD this Tuesday, but that isn’t a “break glass in case of emergency” move. As folks should know by now, almost every Comcast flick opening below $50 million goes to PVOD ($20 to rent) on the first Tuesday after day 17 in theaters. This is how it’s been for 3.5 years, yet every time folks argue that A) this is a situational development or B) it will cannibalize theatrical earnings. Thus far, this is not the case. Films that perform well in theaters (like Zendaya’s Challengers, which earned $2.9 million, dropping 33% in weekend four for a $43.5 million domestic/$78.7 million worldwide cume) continue to do so after PVOD availability.'

So basically, any Universal Pictures movies that doesn't cross $50m in its opening weekend gets rushed to digital.
