I was in Tesco and saw tomahawk steaks selling for half price. I thought that at half price, there might be some value. Nope!

Even at half price, it was dearer per kg than the Tesco finest rib eyes. So more per kg for on the bone meat than boneless rib eyes - and that's at half price.

What kind of sucker would buy it at full price (€53.33/kg) when you can buy rib eyes for €25.31/kg? You are paying a for quite a bit of bone with these and it's a proven myth that steak cooked on the bone is any tastier than steak cooked off the bone. https://www.seriouseats.com/ask-the-food-lab-do-bones-add-flavor-to-meat-beef

So, who the hell buys these?
