Need to know if there's someone we can ring about our dogs attacking a sheep nearby - didn't kill it but it looked like they were scrapping it / playing at it which meant cut shin and wool taken from back of sheep. We are devastated here, at the fact they went roaming and did this.
Farmer wants them put down or rehomed.
We offered to pay for all costs and to put up a electric fence / outter fence and electric gates but this is not acceptable for the farmer. He wants them gone.

Whom can I ring legally to find out my rights here? desperate for advice.
