Temporary paving/patio for garden furniture

Hi, im looking for advise or opinions on what people have done before, We moved into a new build end of last summer, we intend to have paving etc done but it wont be until next year. What would be best/ can we use to create a temporary paving kinda thing just to put garden furniture/ BBQ on for the summer. We arent…

Hi, im looking for advise or opinions on what people have done before, We moved into a new build end of last summer, we intend to have paving etc done but it wont be until next year.
What would be best/ can we use to create a temporary paving kinda thing just to put garden furniture/ BBQ on for the summer. We arent particulary concerned about the grass as it'll be dug up when its being properly done anyway.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Well one quick, easy and relatively cheap option is gravel a couple €60-90 1 tonne bags would be enough to set up a little BBQ space, and then it's not in the way of paving over it next year.
