Newpark music school closing

Just read that the Newpark music school is closing. Enrollments not an issue, last returns shows a profit. Building is owned by Dept Education. Looks like a unilateral decision by the board, with enrollments paused from last year, and no communication. Very strange. Anyone knows whats going on?
