So close for Yuki, nearly got cleaned out by the Haas

KMag did very well to avoid that.

    Prick Ted is unbearable

Get in you beauty Max!!! Get in!

Great race, wouldn't mind a penalty for Russell to knock him off the podium

Fantastic race!!! Very exciting right until the end.

Incredible drive by Max, a very well deserved win.

What a weekend of F1 that was, great advertisement for the sport.

great race. It had a bit of everything. Max actually didn’t drive off into the distance and had to work for it.

Really enjoyed that race. Literally from 1st lap to last lap, still wasn't sure what way the top 3 (or anyone) would be throughout. 20:55 aswell. Nice way to finish the weekend

Such small margins, Norris should've come in on the safety car first time around then stayed out 1 lap too long on the inters. Either could've won him the race

Cracker of a race that. Lovely racing all over the place. Max and Red Bull kept a cool head to win that.

Russell looks pissed off with that.

It wouldn’t have surprised me if any of the other 4 of the top 5 had won. It’s great to see such a fight.

Dead right Martin, a champions drive from Max. Russell messed up again when the pressure was on.

As an F1 fan: Great race!

    As a Ferrari fan: ...

Love how Max says it was a great race for the team ignoring the fact half the team spent the race battling Sauber's at the back of the grid before binning the car

Barcelona in two weeks time is going to be fascinating, it should be a Red Bull track so we’ll get to see what the gaps are between the top teams.

Funny to see Max and Lando watching his exit from the pits, both knowing that was the key part.of the race

No doubt Karun will be along in a minute on the sky pad to show us how Norris was robbed by the safety car. 😁😁

Belter of a race, action all across the field.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,207 ✭✭✭✭MadYaker

The two Haas cars flying through the field at the start was absolutely hilarious, pity Sargeant didn't bin it at the right time for them but it was worth the gamble either way. Nightmare for Ferrari and Williams though. Great race, really enjoyed that.

Whoop! Whoop! Double points finish for Alpine.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,207 ✭✭✭✭MadYaker

Perez needs to sort himself out though, out in Q1 and then bins it in the race with a Sargeant like mistake

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,664 ✭✭✭✭klose

Horner also appears to have said it’s a 1+1 contract for Perez and not a straight 2 year deal as reported. Pretty awful weekend to “celebrate” his new deal.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,052 ✭✭✭✭flazio

Pretty sure Kvyat, Albon and Gasly also had contracts. Not to mention DeVries and Hartley in Alpha Tauri.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,789 ✭✭✭PsychoPete

Sargeant has out qualified Checo more times than he has Albon

Decent race. Canada is always fun in the rain.

Russell makes too many mistakes, but did well to rescue a podium. Well, with the help of DRS. I do wish they'd get rid of it.

Hard to believe Red Bull have given Perez a new contract, when he's getting even worse. Is it just so Verstappen knows that all the focus is on him from them team, when the number 2 is atrocious? Hopefully this is the last season of Red Bull being well ahead of the rest. A strong Red Bull is bad for the spectacle. Not taking anything away from Verstappen, who was superb again today.

Great Race, few things to take from it.

This race shows why Monaco has to go.

George will never win a world Championship. Liability.

Max was brilliant in a car that wasn't the quickest.

Lando is a top notch driver and McClaren have a great Car

Checo should have been fcuked out.

    Ocon is a bit of a wan!er.

Ferrari will continue to be inconsistent throughout the season.

Anyway, delighted Max showed his class and will win another title. I fully expect the RB to be back to it's best in Europe and shut them fcukers in Sky up

Moment of the race is between:

Lando sideways leaving the pit exit trying so hard to get ahead of Verstappen.

    Albon's double overtake.
