Changing to a Smart Device

Hi

we have two of these switches for our gas boiler. The top one controls the hot water and/or the heating upstairs, and the bottom one is for the heating downstairs. Is this a simple swap over to something like a Hive? And if so, is it a plumber job or an electrician? No idea here!

It's a simple job if it's already working. Your rgi should be able to do it. Simple task for electrician also.

Thanks for the reply Wearb. Yep, its all working fine thankfully. So its just a case of getting a couple of these and then getting a rgi or electrician to wire them up? It's a simple enough job did it myself.

If your not confident get an electrician you don't need an RGI you are not doing anything to the gas pipework or installation.

I find it very handy much better than the analogue timer.
