Anyone know where I can get a jar of black cherries in syrup or kirsch? Lidl have them occasionally, but not for ages. No luck in Tesco or SuperValu either, they are lovely in ice cream or yoghurt.

Damn I would kill for bottle of Peter Heering Cherry Liqueur, but I have never seen it in Ireland. Now called Heering Cherry Liqueur.

Hi, the tinned ones aren't the same, they aren't as sweet they are more for a fruit cocktail. I found some here in Dublin CC in Little Italy on North King St., but they look a bit fancy (€€), though gorgeous I am sure, for everyday.
