    Hi all,

I was involved in a RTA. I was at a roundabout going straight when a motorcylist filtered through traffic and cut me off while taking a left onto the motorway, he clipped my bumper and took it off. Thankfully no one was hurt.

A nice gentlemen stopped and offered me his number so I can have him as a witness. I also drive a tesla so there are cameras everywhere that caught everything that happen. He admitted fault staright away on scene.

I went through his insurance and they are saying that he is now denying liability, so now its going through an investigator. The CCTV footage clearly shows he's at fault. Its been 6 days and still have no answer, they wont even give me a hire car until they confirm liability.

My question is, roughly how long will it take for the investigators report to come through?

Has the investigator seen your footage of the the accident? If so, and it's as clear cut as you say, give them 24hrs to admit liability or you'll be off to one of the specialist solicitors that deal with this sort of thing. Look up Hussey Fraser. (not associated with them)
