Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Air to Water Pump Covers

Anyone have any experience with getting a cover for their air to water pump system?

Are they a good idea or do they effect the pump? Does a cover stop the air flow?

Thinking of getting one to help protect the pump from the elements and also for the cosmetic benefits!

Biggest problem is airflow - this would affect operation and efficiency of the ASHP. Also if this creates a baffle it might cause vibration of the fan reducing it's life and increasing noise, conversely enough! Regular maintenance should keep system clean and address any vibration/noise issues. Any cover / fencing off can create a micro climate reingesting the same air that passed through it moments ago. No upside apart from asthetics.
