Seat Ibiza 2010 doesel not starting

    No start replaced power steering pump and now no start immboliser light coming up checked key all ok with key company that came out to car,got another ecu no start got the ecu flashed I think that's what they call it by guy doing this work.With 2 garages no one knows what is going on. Any one can help.

    Has any plugged a diagnostic machine into your car to see what errors are coming?

    Is the engine turning over?

    Engine turning over somtimes starts and cuts out immediately.Yes all these garages would have plugged in diagnostic units and they have said that seat ibiza original factory codes will need to be be entered into ecu.Where does anyone go with this.

    Pretty much impossible to diagnose over the internet to be honest. Is the car with a mechanic or an auto electrician?

    It is with an auto electrian that says codes have have wiped off the ecu.The guy that copied from one ecu to another as original ecu had same problem said maybe that the codes must be gone before he copied it.How does someone find out what codes have been lost.
