    I have FBD comprehensive car insurance, can I claim for damaging my rear bumper and my reversing camera?

    You can, but you have to fork out the excess on your policy first and your next policies may rise in price for claiming.

    Missus had a bonnet repaired which included a few other bits under insurance last week, 4000 euro she paid 700 excess and policy didn't go up 1 cent.

    She had full NCB protection so that played a big part.
