Hello, does anyone know this, my employer are offering health insurance for their staff and its a great plan however i already have insurance, can I swap over or will I get penalised?

Depends on the policy. I am on a corporate plan which has special terms. No waiting period, paid for by employer for family under 18 or under 21 if in education. The devil is in the detail. Ring them and ask.

You'll pay tax (benefit in kind) on the value of it, but it's still much cheaper than paying for it yourself.
