Adblue BMW

    I bought a 181 5 series BMW in March.

    Just over 7000 km driven since then. No adblue alart has come on.

    Is this normal. This is my first car with adblue, is there a way to check?

    They seem to use only a small amount. I had an 18 X3 and I only had to top up it once in the 3 years I had it ( 45K KM), Same with my current 330d only once since 21.

    A notice will come up on the dash in good time, I can't remember but there should be a gauge somewhere in the menus.

    My wife had a VW and we were allows putting adblue in.

    I'll see if I can locate the gauge in the manu.
