Looks like Mel Gibson's back in the directors chair; Mark Wahlberg in-front of the cameras meaning the ásshole quotient is really off the scale with this one. A very pared back story and setting compared with Gibon's earlier CV, perhaps suggesting a basic bottle-thriller was the best he could manage in leaving FIlm Jail.

It's also a weird choice by Wahlberg; it's not like his hair or appearance is so iconic that a bald cap acts like some clever subversion of his image (seen with handsome stars like Cruise or Farrell ugly'ing themselves up).

When Nicholas Cage went bald for Dream Scenario, it was part of an overall meek, schlubby look; Wahlberg still looks like Wahlberg, only bald.
