How bad is it going to get at United before it starts getting better is now the question. Because on the last few displays they're not just perilously close to it but actually circling the drain here.

It's unthinkable and still almost impossible to contemplate given some of the other teams below them but this is absolutely relegation form at the moment

It's not his team fair enough, but the atmosphere in all aspects of the playing side must be absolutely septic

oof that’s a fairly bad take… you can’t do anything about other teams in the league (and the various things they’ve been accused of), but Klopp teams got over 90 points 3 times, with two being 97 and 99 point seasons. That’s the highest level ‘pool have ever been in the PL, and likely will remain the highest level they’ll ever be, as it’s only a hair off perfection. Slot’s doing really well, but his team are still just 3 points ahead of Klopps entirely rebuilt team last season. Long way to go to be said he’s surpassed Klopp’s level.

Is there some deeper problem between Zirkzee and the fans? I get that he's not played well but he's a pretty inexperienced player who's only been at the club a few months, and not many have played well in that time.

Amorim isn't going to last at this rate.

Whatever about the quality of the players available, the tactics are down to him and his coaches and it's been utterly shambolic.

I can't remember a Premier league side conceding directly from corners in consecutive weeks in the thirty odd years of the competition.

We can't sign whoever we want, so he's stuck with the majority of these players for the next year or two.

United will be relegated playing this football for the rest of the season.

We can't get a foothold in any game.

Ten Hag was sacked because he couldn't deviate from his process, Amorim won't change his approach to the game either.

Someone needs to sit him down and point out just how insane the way he's setting the side up is.

Rashford is well overdue his marching orders, but he's been the biggest story of Amorim's reign. He didn't need to turn that situation into a circus and he's seemiolost the dressing room now as a result.

I can see him getting sacked by February. The club has been in a deep crisis for years, but this is as bad as its ever been.
