Moving from Civil Service to County Council Salary

HI all, has anyone here experience of moving from the Civil Service to a role in the County Council this is a Clerical Officer role.

I am wondering if the county council will take into consideration my time spent in Civil Service or will I just start on point 1 of the payscale. Thanks all

Yes-you will have no issue with that, they might have to get your record from civil service but you'll get it no problem.

TThanks for your reply I'm currently an EO on point 2 and my new role will be CO

When I first started in public sector I was a CO I moved to EO last June

Will this make a difference?

Thanks for your reply I will request a verification of service to be completed by my current employer hopefully this will be all the need

Can I ask what number you were on the panel for Co and were you waiting long for your number to come up? I am on a panel but my number is in the 30ties
