PTSB Reported incorrectly that I missed my EMIs

Hey all, received letter from the PTSB they incorrectly reported that a friend has missed mortgage payment and taking steps.

1. How will this impact his credit history

2. What are his rights.

If it was, just ask them to correct the records.

Although it looks like the already are, so nothing to worry about.

Once corrected it will have no impact on anything going forward

Any decisions that were taken for credit by a provider while it was incorrect may have resulted in refusal or (less likely) worse terms

1. None, assuming they have corrected it, which given the letter I assume they have or are in the process of doing so and provided he made no credit applications during the period the payments were incorrectly stated. Order a report to see the current state.
2. Have it corrected. If there was a credit refusal during the period and your friend sufferred a financial loss consult a solicitor.

Your post is confusing. The way you'd read the first post does not suggest they have admitted a mistake. Who have they reported it to, and is it your friend or yourself? The thread title contradicts the first post.
