Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

CCTV, Gate & Alarm System suggestions?

    Hey, I am in the process of renovating a house with the idea that it will have CCTV, Alarm and Sliding gate with intercom.

    Ideally we want to be able to control all of this from an app (arm/disarm alarm, talk on intercom, open/close the gate, view the cameras live, etc.)

    Ideally we would also be able to view historic footage, but this is not critical.

    What should we be expecting for:

    32 window sensors

    9 motion detectors

    6 CCTC cameras

    1 sliding gate

    1 intercom

    and can anyone suggest a system that would integrate into a single app, or compatible with Google Home or something?

    btw Builder gave a quote of €13k for the above….which is way over budget/expectation!
