Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yellow Warning Dashboard - Damper Fault - NCT Fail?

I replaced two front shocks and top mounts on my car, unfortunately not the exact right shock absorbers, as even though the shocks I got are compatible, they are without a DCC cable that would enable a sport mode in my car, ie. press button and it changes from comfort to sport mode by stiffening the shocks/suspension.

See the error, its a yellow triangle showing 'damper fault'

I have the NCT this Saturday, will it fail due to this ?

I don't think it'll fail, NCT tester will see there's brand new shocks on the car, don't think they're too concerned about a light on the dash if it doesn't affect the cars roadworthiness. But I could be wrong.

You could always mention it to the tester when they come to collect the keys off you

Have vw cc with that dcc and was Researching it went I need new shocks .problem is if replaced them with normal shocks it will make car illegal to be on road as dcc is Connected with esp abs so if you was involved in bad (life changing injuries fatal) crash insurance could sue you for cost of claim
