Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

    I am looking at buying a car from a garage. Salesman told me that car was a ex demo and then owned by a couple. I did a cartell report. It does say only 2 owners but I am confused by trade sale held car for 5 months and owner 1 held car for 1 month. Does this look okay to you ?

    Looks perfect. Its 2 owners. Nothing to worry about.

    Looks normal enough for a pre reg or demo.

    The trade owner doesn't go down as an owner on cars record.

    The 1st owner and the trade owner could well be the same dealer. It might have had to be held for a month to avail of demo discount from distributor or something like that. The 5 month ownership could just be another part of the same business.
