Greasing external brackets and cover screws (lighting)

The brackets and covers screws tend to be seized over time

What's the best way to prevent this . Copper grease or anti-seize compound or something else?

I use a lot of white lithium grease spray grease outside. Its does look a bit odd but does give a good bet of protection. The white grease is cleaner looking then normal grease.

Would that be a maintenance-free solution for sensor light brackets etc.

Obviously if you fit a light for a customer you wouldn't be maintaining the greasing. It'd be a one off deal

Also is that a white finish ? If so it wouldn't suit every application

Is there any permanent solution. If i recall i heard sparks talking about Vaseline on threads online.

That white grease is excellent on threads but so is just about any other grease ;-)

You can make it look better by spraying it on and then wiping around the screw/bolt head so just the head and a few mills out from it is covered.
