Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Best stock android mobile phone around 500 euro?

    Hi,

    I have bought a OnePlus Nord 3 5G Dual SIM mobile phone . I am going to return this product as I am quiet dissappointed with its performance. In 10 mins WhatsApp video call it drains more than 10% battery. 

    Can you please suggest an alternate phone prerferably with the below specs?

    Price : around 500 euro 

    Mobiledata : 5G

    Large screen

    Slow battery drain

    stock android preferred

    Dual SIM

    What about OnePlus 12R? 

    Any suggestions?

    Pixel 8a is around 450 if bought from a network in pay as you go. It will be unlocked and you can pop in your own sim from any other network.

    Is Google PIXEL the best at this price range? I prefer to have an extra large screen!

    Anything without any bloatware which is in Xiaomi / RealMe / OPPO etc. This was the case with these phones couple of years back. Dont know what is the situation at the moment.

    If considering the Pixel, you have to forego one or the other - screen size or price. As for stock android, they would be as close to stock as any of the other brands you mention. Majority can be debloated nowadays using ADB.

    I was extraordinarily lucky to get a brand new pixel 8 pro on amazon for €421 last week. (Some crazy double discount). With the 9 coming out now, keep an eye out for some price cuts.
