Looking for Golfers... Druids Heath, Portmarnock/Jameson Links

Hello all,

I am looking for golfers to come and help out on two separate projects. If you're interested, please answer the following questions as I'm looking for a mix of people. Put your name forward for both if you like. Golf will be complimentary.

1. Jameson Links:

This is a round of golf followed by you writing answers to questions in the bar afterwards. It will be next week, on Thursday 8th at 3pm. Please only respond if you can make this tee time.

• How many times, roughly, have you played Portmarnock Links/Jameson Links?
• When did you last play the course?
• What's your handicap?

2. Druids Heath:

This is a round of golf which will be recorded on video. You will be asked questions, on camera, as the round progresses. This will be some weekend in the next few weeks. Probably a Sunday afternoon… but not guaranteed.
Requirements here are very specific.

• How many times, roughly, have you played Druids Heath?
• When did you last play it?
• On a scale of 1 to 10 how much did you like the course (1 being 'hated it', 10 being 'loved it')?
• What's your handicap?
• You will be asked to sign a 'release form' saying that you agree to being filmed and having the video published online.

If the dates work, I'd be happy to play the Druids Heath outing.

Not sure I fit the bill and criteria though. I've never played the course before, so only know of it by reputation.

Handicap is 6.4 currently.

Hi Kevin,

I'd love to be a part of both or either if possible. I'm a higher handicapper though so don't know if I would be suitable? I'm off 18. Can certainly make both tee times.

1. Played it just the once in 2019 I think.

Druids Heath.

Played it twice in the same weekend.

1/10. disliked it on my first round and despised it on my second. Tough, sneaky and oddly boring. I’d have given it a 0/10 except for the 2-3 holes - great holes just after the brutal index 1.

Currently 21.0 on WHS.

I would sign anything.

I've played portmarnock links about 15-20 times, most recently April. My handicap is 12.4.

I've never played druids heath and am happy to sign away my media rights for a round of golf.

Guys, assuming you can make it next Thursday, then the tee time is 3pm and I will be there from around 2.15pm.
(Thanks for the responses from others… I am after some very specific parameters that Kiith, Pierce and Big Easy fulfil)

Hi @Kevinmarkham, apologies, unfortunately what I thought was a relatively straightforward swap next Thursday has proved not to be such.

Hopefully there is another poster with the criteria you are looking for. Disappointed not to play the renovated layout, but thanks again for the offer.

6 - I wasn't a fan at the time, found it a bit too hard as I was new to the game
