Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know its how long is a piece of string.

But lets say a holiday to a sunny place in Europe for 2 weeks - 2 adults and 2 children.

What would be the average cost to include everything: getting to Irish airport, parking, flights, hotel/rental house, activities, eating out, car rental/taxis, day to day costs during holidays.

What ye reckon would be average? I know August gets more expensive and I know you can go for 5 star hotel or package holiday etc but just looking for something in between.

Well getting to the airport is a bit much to calculate in considering you are driving, you can calculate the fuel and parking yourself 🤣

I booked 2 adults 2 children for a week in Majorca (Sa coma) heading next week, 3k flight and hotel which is all inclusive in 4 star hotel. transfers are €90 each way.

5 mins from the beach and sa coma town, tons of activates on site free (bike rental, mini golf, driving range)

So for 2 weeks it will be not too much change from 6k ( you also need to remember it is August already). but being all inclusive you could get away with bringing 1k spending and hope to come back with a few bob

You need to be more specific with your query. Its way too board a question as they are so many different holiday options that people choose, the obvious been all inclusive versus room only.

I know what you mean, but looking for a bit of both - just to give a general idea of costs in 2024, like the post above from fitzparker is perfect and gives me some ball park numbers.

Maybe a poll asking how much people spent would be easier? I pay for flights around December time, accommodation in spring. I never want to know the full cost. Why not go on a travel agent's website, see the costs and then check parking in the airport costs and add them up?!

All inclusive TUI, with flights should start from 5000 for 2 weeks, 2 adults, 2 kids
