Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Battery for stop start

My uncle bought a 2017 VW Polo about a month ago.

Friday morning wouldn't start so he got a jump start.

Saturday no start either so I got him a battery at a motor factors yesterday afternoon.

They told me it may need to be coded or the battery might get fried.

My uncle is 86 with a bad hip, lives alone and needs his car every day.

Is it ok to use the battery until after the bank holiday and what is involved in getting it coded?

    Can an indie do this?
