Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hadn't listened to this for years …. it is good but what are some of the songs about ?? … here's what I think ….

Yellow triangle …. this is obvious …. about Nazism ….

God woman …. St Brigid maybe ?? … but who is breaking up the bordellos ?? …

Minds locked shut = Bloody Sunday …

Folk tale … prob fictional story of younger man in love with older woman he falls out of love with ….

Riding the high stool …. another obvious one … a song about pubs !!

Tiles and slabs … obscure …. but the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan first time around the time of this album and so could be about fundamentalism in Afghanistan ??

Strange ways … almost certainly must be about clerical abuse in disguise ?? ..

On the mainland …. Seamus Heaney's winning of an award and he being considered British by the BBC …

Boning halls …. must be about the Beef Tribunal ….

Miracle of nature …. about bad planning law ??

North and south of the river …. song about Dublin …

Rory is gone … tribute to Rory Gallagher ….
