Partition Wall advice Bathroom wall

I’m planning to redo my bathroom and move the electric shower to the opposite side. I’ll also be building a partition wall for the electric shower, which I plan to tile over. My question is, what size timber should I use for the partition, and are there any potential issues I should be aware of?

4*2 if possible, ideal size for stud wall, use proper board for under the tiles, waterproof board available and tank it
