Nissan Leaf (2014) Charging Port Door Issue

    The charging port door on my Nissan Leaf won't stay closed. I've seen this video indicating the latch could be seized (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ei4CADGYyPk). I took everything apart but the latch is fine. I put everything back together and somehow got the latch to close in the process, but once I popped it open from inside the car, it refused to close again.

    I noticed a screw each side of the charging port that controls the depth of the door when you push it in, I am wondering if these need to be adjusted to allow the door to be pushed in tighter to catch, or is this down to some other reason?

    Actually, maybe I missed it. I was focused on the spring on the latch but I missed the pivot on the release cable. Its probably not staying closed because the release cable is seized in an open position

    Will have to take it apart again..
