cheap tablet for GAA stats app

I'm using gaa stats plus on the phone, great app but a bit hard to work on the phone, im looking to buy a tablet to make this easier but as it the only thing I'll use it for I dont want to break the bank. In the likes of CEX theres basic apps for 40 to 50 quid. Would the app work on these older second hand apps?

The issue is the version of Android on these and which is the earliest version of Android the app will work with

I use that app myself, and have just had a look at its requirements - it needs Android 10.0 or above.

Have also had a look at the CEX website, and at the price range you're talking about, the best any of the tablets can do there is just 7.0, and most of them are 6.0

Had to go all the way to this brand that I'd never heard of, at €125, before finding one that runs 10.0 or above (this one runs 11.0) -

You might be better off posting over in the Android Devices forum - just say you want to buy a cheap(ish) second-hand tablet that runs Android 10.0 or above, and see if the tech-heads there come up with any suggestion to suit.

By the way, presume you're just using the app to keep stats, and not to tweet live scores or anything? You wouldn't get to tweet from a cheap tablet without a SIM card, unless you had a wifi connection. And if you frequent the same sort of pitches as I do, then you won't find wifi on the sidelines too often!

That's true. Never thought of that…mainly because I didn't need to!

I just use the app for live tweeting of scores. I don't actually need to keep all the stats. And I just do the tweeting directly from the phone anyway, instead of lugging a tablet to matches with me as well.
