Does anybody know here Sky Arts has gone? It was on 12070 H 27500 but seems to have disappeared! TIA

Scan: 0 Channels found??

Any advice?? I did a full blind scan last night.

Just to add a bit, the best way for a single channel is to use signal finder, and input the correct parameters, then pause and .. signal bar will fill up.. if you have the right details. So have it on tuner A, then under tune toggle and make user defined, system is dvb-s2, when you change to dvb-s2 there is another page that you scroll down to .

Here are 2 pics that shows what you should have Green to scan, you wil get lots of channels so scroll to sky arts and press ok.

I have made FEC as Auto so it finds the correct one itself, you had 5/6 and it should have been 2/3.

The above should work if not I'll check on a zgemma h7s later.

I found it. It took an automatic scan not a blind scan. All is well now!!

For future reference if anyone is doing a manual scan go to
MENU>Setup>Tuners & Scanning>Manual Scan
To change a particular setting, highlight it and use the left/right buttons on remote to change setting options. Then hit green to scan.

Just to be clear, the best way to find a single channel is to use signal finder as it will show a signal when you have put in the correct parameters. A manual scan does not show a signal so you wont know if you have got the channel or not until you scan and …. but to everyone their own. Manual scan is usually done for a single satellite but I could be wrong .

So whether I do it Gerry's way or swoofer's way, I'm still getting "Tune failed" error message when I try to tune to Sky Arts channel.

Taking the Gerry route for example, when I have Sky Arts highlighted on the EPG, I go, as suggested, to Setup>Tuners & Scanning>Manual Scan and CAREFULLY set all the numbers per Gerry's pic above, I hit SCAN, and it came back with 34 channels - one of which was Sky Arts. I highlighted Sky Arts line, but when I back out of those menus by hitting the Exit key on the remote, I still get "Tune Failed" when I select Sky Arts on the EPG.

Further, when I go back in again, by navigating tru the above submenus, I get the old settings - the new ones were not saved.

The same result happens when I try swoofers method - I get 72% SNR and 73% AGC. When I back out of those screens, I still get a "Tune Failed" black screen.

How to I save those new settings and associate them or somehow "logically connect" them to Sky Arts channel - if that makes sense :)

Ok I'm going to show ypu a better method in a moment but have you 2 cables to the and tuner a and b configured correctly? And channel will be saved to last scanned it will not replace existing.

Can you say the skin you are using, menu setup about and see item near bottom.

Yes - I have 2 cables from the dish - A and B. I have a "Last Scanned" bouquet? with the channel that I'm looking for in there.

I'm running Openvix 6.2

BUT - when I do a Menu/Setup, I don't see an "About" item. I get a list of Audio & Video; Tuners & Scanning; EPG; User Interface; Network; Common Interface; SoftcamManager; Storage; Recordings Playback and TimeShift; Time; HDMI-CEC; System; and VIX. I don't see an "About"

ok watching footie real amdrid i can load simple ten eighty is a moment and see what happes, when you go to sky arts in last scanned does it open? I told you wrong its menu information about !! can you look at image and say what it says, mine is 6.3.007

I'm trying to add Quest Red too …. it's under the "Last Scanned" category. When I go into the Last Scanned category, I see it's numbered 10072. Does that make sense?
