Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Apologies Admin if there’s a post already, feel free to move…

I’m in search of a cheap 2nd hand turbo trainer and IIRC some boardsie’s snapped up an Elite Tuo when they were on offer for €150 a year or two ago, possibly in Argos.

If you bought one, would you recommend!? Anything to be aware of when buying 2nd hand!? There are a few on Adverts that I might bid on but I’d like to hear 1st hand of peoples experience with it.

    Cheers

I previously had one. Probably one of the better wheel on trainers you can get. Had no issues with it.

I got a new one for 115 EUR from Argos a while back. Been excellent, used 3 or 4 times per week during the winter.

I've compared the power readings to my Garmin vector pedals and to my Power tap hub and all read pretty much identical values across all power outputs.

I'd definitely recommend (for the price)
