ZTE MC801A Three Ireland - Smart DNS unable to access some web addresses, specifically UK

    I have a ZTE MC801A 5G router, originally Three Ireland but unlocked.

    I've tried it with EIR, 48, GOMO to test my web speed.

    Ideally I'd like to use 48 as the Fair Usage Cap is actually unlimited from September, but both 48 and Three have proved problematic when using alternative DNS servers , for what it's worth I use Getflix

    Works perfectly with EIR and GOMO

    Anyone have any experience?

    There is javascript for ZTE MC801A that allow you to "expose" and control hidden settings , including DNS , if this what you looking for.
    I was testing it year or so ago, perhaps there is updated version now or different stuff available for that.
    Search for : "Miononno javascript for ZTE_MC801A", expand your search from there. By chance you speak Italian? 😉
