Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

remarkable heat in the sun considering the altitude is 39 degrees at noon compared to 60 at midsummer.
I had difficulty in posting this, boards.ie is Donald ducked and going from bad to worse!

Another amazing sunny warm day here in Meath. 2 days in a row of gin blue skies and no clouds, we didn't get a pair of blue sky days like this all summer.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,155 ✭✭✭OldRio

This is more like it. Sun and blue skys.

Malin Head 23C @1600 today, not bad for mid September (or any month for that matter) there.

Have a weather station?, why not join the Ireland Weather Network - http://irelandweather.eu/

All stations reporting either Fair or Sun clear/skies on the 4pm reports. Beautiful day. Nice big moon up around 7.40pm with Space station over at 8.28pm and 10.04pm

I'm on the commute from Dublin to Meath. Can't explain the a m a z i n g sunset as we pass by Hill of Tara.

Most of the day indoors. True blue skies all day out the window. 👏

Sister heading on her holidays to Italy later in the week - they have rain warnings now this week (tomorrow anyway)😲

A good contender for the nicest day of the year today in Dublin, lovely dark blue sky all day without a single cloud from mid-morning onwards. The only real competition is those two days right at the end of August.

Another wonderful day from sunrise to moonrise. Got to make the most of it whilst it's here, the sleep can wait! 😂 Pics of misty morning at Malahide Castle and moonrise lined up with Howth Lighthouse.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,207 ✭✭✭Kutebride

Rotten fog in Meath for the morning run. No sunrise moment.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,152 ✭✭✭DellyBelly

Fog in Dublin...very calm though. Not a puff of wind

Dazzling bright Sunrise this morning in Leitrim. Utterly stunning.

Fog has cleared to partly cloudy skies and there's a chilly and noticeable breeze. Heading to longford shortly, hopefully the cold nuisance wind is just an eastern counties thing.

Beautiful sunny very warm morning in Galway. Blue skies as far as the eye can see and barely a movement of air to speak of.

The views over Galway bay are stunning.

making the most of this amazing spell of weather, looks like we get till Friday out of this and then it turns cooler and more unsettled from the weekend and on into next week.

Just looking at the met.ie chart .Does that look like a proper storm next Tuesday? Big and tight.

    Another glorious day in Dublin.

Also loving the mist/fog in the early morning and having no wind.

a much fresher day today in Meath 18C compared to 22C over the past few days but still lovely and sunny.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,479 ✭✭✭✭Thelonious Monk

Got out of work and it's cloudy now in Dublin ffs, typical

  • Registered Users Posts: 121 ✭✭Thunder87

Yep, grey and 14C in Dublin with wind chill making it feel even colder 😑

Going by sat24 it should hopefully clear up again before sunset but after sitting in the office all day looking out at the sun the evening has pretty much gone to waste

  • Registered Users Posts: 121 ✭✭Thunder87

15 minutes later, a lovely evening in Dublin with clear cloudless gin blue skies.

    Weird how fast that happened…

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,627 ✭✭✭Cluedo Monopoly

Yeah I am in Dublin today. After the fog cleared this morning it was glorious until around 5:30pm and then it clouded over. Phoenix Park was stunning in the sunshine. Blue skies again now.
