Hi folks, I'm interested in a 2007 E200 auto in Skibbereen, but I'm in Dublin… Wondering if by any chance there are any members near Skibbereen who could give it a quick once-over for me? Please PM if you would be willing to help out a fellow petrolhead!

I just would like someone local to give it a quick inspection / listen determine whether all seems good instead of me spending a day on public transport just to find its not aas it seems. Been there a couple of times...

I did the same favour years ago for a country boardsie on a car here in Dublin. Coincidentally, it was also an E200, and it turned out to be a dog, so trip saved for him.

Current owner has it over 8 years but the lack of information of what is triggering the engine light would kill my interest in it because of how far away it is.

The car is idling. So no the light should not be on.
