Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Duration of onboarding process?

    Hi everyone,

Just out of curiosity when beginning a new job, generally how long is the onboarding process? I hope to be successful in a job I applied for, it is a call center admin role, and "full training will be provided". Would anyone have a general idea of the duration of the training and would you be paid for the duration of the training?

    Thanks in advance.

God I hate that "onboarding" expression. Training is usually paid. As for duration, it varies job by job. You can ask when they contact you with start dates etc.

Hi Will, best of luck with the job application,

Yeah, I wouldn't get too concerned with the HR blurb.

    You'll get training.

    You will be paid.

Anything else really depends on the job.

    👍️

In multinationals can be up to a month, especially if you are customer facing.

In Smaller companies it can be handover from

The person you are replacing and a “best of luck”!

I’ve done both and I’d take somewhere inbetween ideally.
