Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Recommend white paint shade for pine ceilings, cupboards

Just moved to a 1990's house with a large area of pine ceiling in hall and sitting room, plus pine doors and cupboard doors all over. We're using a profession painter to paint all this pine, and need to decide fairly quickly whether to just go for brilliant white (a bit stark?) or a more muted slightly off-white. Any colour recommendations from your own experience please? Any readily available brand is fine.

Have a look at Artic Blond or Alabaster White from Coloutrend. Both would be very popular alternative to pure white..

It is important to use a good quality primer before hand otherwise you will run the risk of the paint chipping off.

Thanks for the recommendation @Ceepo. I love Colourtrend - will head to our local stockist to check those colours out - it's so hard to tell online. And I'll be talking to our painter about primer. There's a vast amount of pine in the house and I don't want to make any expensive mistakes.
