Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all, looking for some advice on any nice spa hotels (preferably within 2 hours of Dublin). We are three friends so the Galgorm and the Seafield seem to be out of the question as they only have double rooms. So we are looking for a nice spa hotel that have triple rooms. TIA

Triple rooms are always difficult to find. The Monart has triple rooms but its pricy. Its the best spa in the country as far as I'm concerned though. Johnstown estate also has triple rooms and was a nice spa. Carrickdale Hotel does triples to but I didn't think a lot of the spa. I'm going to Knightsbrook Hotel in Trim in November but haven't been before so can't comment on quality. I think Powerscourt has triple rooms but they don't show on the website so you'd have to call.

Monart is phenomenal, nowhere else comes close in terms of value for the high prices they all charge.

My wife and I head to Monart every year for a few days of pampering. It’s still a brilliant place, but we did notice a small drop off in quality last year. The dinner menu read well, but was only average. Our room was just starting to show its age. The pool and the hydrotherapy area had seen better days. Like small things enough, but when you’re charging that much then it needs to be perfect.

We have stayed at the Hillgrove in Monaghan a couple of times and really liked it. Have a lovely spa and the rooms are great.

Ebrington in Derry is lovely if you're prepared to travel, with the city just a short walk over the bridge.
