Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Delaying period for wedding...

Im not looking for any medical advice but just people's experience. I'm considering taking the period delay pill as I'm due the week of my wedding.

I already struggle with severe bloating, pain and hormonal acne the days before I'm due. Any experience if this will make it all worse? Pretty anxious about it and willing to take my chances with various protection and suffer through but also if the delay pill works with minimal side effects could be the best solution.

    Any experience would be appreciated!

You could speak to your GP. The contraceptive pill can be prescribed to be taken back-to-back with no 7 day break and normally results in either no period, or much lighter bleeding. It can also help with the other menstrual symptoms you are having.

Best advice is a chat with your GP.

Firstly speak to your doctor. I’d also do a trial run, to make sure you know you won’t have side effects.
